As an on-site, travel-to-you portrait artist, I specialize in serving busy, intentional families across Houston's premier neighborhoods. Whether we are setting up a beautifully lit lifestyle newborn session in your nursery or finding the perfect backdrop for annual portraits right in your neighborhood, I handle all the local travel directly to your location or home.
Can we do our session at home, or do you find another locations?
We do both! If you prefer a relaxed setting, we travel directly to you... whether bottling up that sweet newborn smell in your West University nursery, capturing morning cuddles in River Oaks, or using a beautiful outdoor park (or your beautiful backyard) I've hand-scouted across Memorial, The Heights, Garden Oaks, or Spring Branch.
As a mom, I also know the last thing you want is a long car ride across Houston with a toddler. If a classic, pre-lit studio look fits your aesthetic, I intentionally secure a boutique studio space located directly in or adjacent to your neighborhood to keep the day completely effortless. We handle all the scouting and logistics so you can simply show up and enjoy your family.
What happens if my children don't cooperate, or are shy and energetic?
Take a deep breath, Mama... please don’t worry. Before becoming a portrait artist, I spent years teaching high schoolers, and now I’m a mom to an active little boy myself, so absolutely nothing surprises or fazes me. Our sessions are completely unhurried, relaxed, and designed around your children's natural energy.
If your little one needs a moment to run around and shake out the sillies, that is entirely okay. If they need a quick snack break to reset, we take it. We never expect children to sit perfectly still or flash forced smiles. By treating the day like a fun, playful game, we ease the pressure completely, letting them simply be themselves while I capture the real, beautiful connection.
What happens if the weather changes for our outdoor session?
In the event of bad weather, we will simply reschedule for the next available date that works for both of our schedules. Houston weather loves to keep us on our toes! Because we plan everything meticulously, we always monitor the forecast as your session approaches.
Is booking a boutique studio session going to cost more?
Not at all. Your peace of mind is our highest priority, which is why the boutique studio rental is completely built into our standard portrait pricing. You never have to worry about hidden fees, surprise line items, or handling the booking logistics yourself.

For pregnancy photography, the golden window is typically between 28 and 34 weeks, when your beautiful bump is safely established but you are still feeling comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience. For lifestyle newborn photography, we typically shoot inside your home within the first 10 to 14 days after birth to capture those fleeting, tiny details. However, because our style focuses on warm, natural connection rather than rigid studio wrapping, we can capture beautiful lifestyle newborn pictures at any point during those first few weeks!
What should I prepare for a newborn session at home?
Because we are capturing a relaxed, storytelling lifestyle session inside your own home, you don't need to pack up a massive diaper bag or transport heavy props. All you need to provide is a well-fed baby, a warm room, and yourself. We handle the styling guidance for the family beforehand, ensuring the nursery or master bedroom feels bright, calming, and ready to frame your new beginning.
How much does a full-service family portrait experience cost?
Because we believe every family’s home, legacy, and space are completely unique, we don't offer rigid, one-size-fits-all packages. Instead, you are investing in a comprehensive, luxury experience. This includes our personalized wardrobe styling, neighborhood location logistics, an unhurried portrait session, and the design of the physical heirloom pieces and custom framing layouts that will grace your home.
We walk through all of our artwork pricing and framing details transparently during your initial planning consultation so you can make comfortable, intentional decisions for your family before the camera ever turns on. While there is no minimum order, families typically spend an average of $2,000 to completely customize their portrait experience and bring their final wall art collections or luxury albums to life.
